U.S. Federal Census Microfilm Catalog
=================================================================== 1920 Federal Population Census Schedules - Series T625 Introduction The 1920 census schedules are arranged by state or territory, and thereunder by county. In some instances the names of large cities also appear. The entries are not always in strict alphabetical order. It is a good idea to review all listings for the area you are interested prior to placing an order; since an entire county or enumeration district often spans more than one roll. Entries also include enumeration district numbers. If you wish to order the census schedules for a minor civil division or geographic area within a particular county or a certain ward within a given city, it is necessary for you to know that the enumeration district number is needed in order to select the correct roll. Descriptions of census enumeration districts for the 1920 census are reproduced on microfilm series T1224, rolls 41-60. =================================================================== 1920 Alabama SERIES ROLL (INCLUDES) T625 1 Autauga, Bibb, and Chambers (EDs 14-22, 184) Counties 2 Chambers (EDs 23-36), Baldwin, and Barbour (EDs 1-4) Counties 3 Barbour (EDs 5-26, 203), and Blount Counties 4 Bullock and Butler (EDs 17-32) Counties 5 Butler (EDs 33-34) and Calhoun Counties 6 Cherokee, Chilton and Choctaw (EDs 1-7) Counties 7 Choctaw (EDs 8-16), Cleburne, and Clarke Counties 8 Clay and Coffee Counties 9 Colbert and Conecuh Counties 10 Coosa and Covington Counties 11 Crenshaw and Cullman Counties 12 Dale and DeKalb (EDs 66-86) Counties 13 DeKalb (EDs 87-89), Escambia, and Dallas (EDs 68-86) Counties 14 Dallas (EDs 87-108) and Elmore Counties 15 Etowah and Geneva (EDs 90-97, 160, 98-100) Counties 16 Geneva (EDs 101-117), Fayette, and Franklin (EDs 22-25, 141, 26, 139) Counties 17 Franklin (EDs 27-28, 140, 29-37) and Houston Counties 18 Greene, Henry, and Jackson (EDs 22-24, 18, 25-28) Counties 19 Jackson (EDs 29-51) and Hale Counties 20 Jefferson (EDs 1-14, 143, 5-10, 200, 11, 117, 12, 13, 114-116, 156, 118-123, 184, 124, 125, 127) County 21 Jefferson (EDs 126, 128-139, 158, 160-164, 140-142, 144, 155, 178-179, 157, 159) County 22 Jefferson Co., (EDs 162, 163, 165-170, 176, 171, 173-175) and Birmingham City (EDs 14-20, 187, 21, 180, 22-28) 23 Jefferson Co., Birmingham City (EDs 29-30, 185, 31-186, 42, 48, 181, 50, 51) 24 Jefferson Co., Birmingham City (EDs 49, 52, 199, 53, 182-183, 188, 189, 54, 177, 194, 55, 56, 197, 57, 58, 190, 59, 61-67, 193, 68-71, 74-86) 25 Jefferson Co., Birmingham City (EDs 87-90, 191, 91-106, 195, 196, 107, 192, 108-110, 198, 111-113) 26 Lamar and Lee Counties 27 Lauderdale and Limestone (EDs 97-100, 102) Counties 28 Limestone (EDs 101, 103-114, 13, 114-116) and Marshall Counties 29 Lawrence and Lowndes Counties 30 Macon and Madison (EDs 117-135) Counties 31 Madison (EDs 136-150 and Marengo (EDs 45-49, 51-64) Counties 32 Marengo (EDs 65-71) and Morgan Counties 33 Marion and Monroe Counties 34 Mobile (EDs 72-76, 172, 77-97, 117-124) County 35 Mobile (EDs 98-105, 125-134, 106-116) County 36 Montgomery (EDs 94-97, 189, 98, 186, 99-101, 109-111, 185, 188, 102-105, 187, 106-108, 112-120) County 37 Montgomery (EDs 121-138) and Perry Counties 38 Pickens and Pike (EDs 139-156) Counties 39 Pike (EDs 157-159), St. Clair, and Randolph Counties 40 Russell and Shelby Counties 41 Sumter and Talladega (EDs 128-145, 155) Counties 42 Talladega (EDs 146-154), Washington, and Wilcox (EDs 160-174, 179) Counties 43 Wilcox (EDs 175-178, 180-184), Winston, and Tallapoosa (EDs 160-179) Counties 44 Tallapoosa (EDs 180-183) and Walker Counties 45 Tuscaloosa County ===================================================================
