=================================================================== 1920 Federal Population Census Schedules - Series T625 Introduction The 1920 census schedules are arranged by state or territory, and thereunder by county. In some instances the names of large cities also appear. The entries are not always in strict alphabetical order. It is a good idea to review all listings for the area you are interested prior to placing an order; since an entire county or enumeration district often spans more than one roll. Entries also include enumeration district numbers. If you wish to order the census schedules for a minor civil division or geographic area within a particular county or a certain ward within a given city, it is necessary for you to know that the enumeration district number is needed in order to select the correct roll. Descriptions of census enumeration districts for the 1920 census are reproduced on microfilm series T1224, rolls 41-60. =================================================================== 1920 North Carolina SERIES ROLL (INCLUDES) T625 1282 Alamance, Alexander, and Caswell Counties 1283 Alleghany, Bladen, and Anson Counties 1284 Ashe, Camden, Avery, and Carteret Counties 1285 Beaufort and Bertie Counties 1286 Brunswick and Buncombe (EDs 1, 194, 2, 3, 196, 4, 23, 5-22) Counties 1287 Buncombe (EDs 24, 25, 294, 26, 27, 192, 28-34, 195, 35-41), Burke, and Dare Counties 1288 Cabarrus, Caldwell, and Catawba (EDs 28-31) Counties 1289 Catawba (EDs 32-47) and Chatham Counties 1290 Cherokee, Chowan, Clay, and Martin Counties 1291 Cleveland and Durham (EDs 33-36, 59, 38-40, 60-65) Counties 1292 Durham (EDs 41-47, 56-58, 48-55) and Columbus Counties 1293 Craven and Cumberland (EDs 47-51, 63, 52-61) Counties 1294 Cumberland (EDs 62, 64-70), Davie, Currituck, and Madison Counties 1295 Davidson and Gates Counties 1296 Duplin and Edgecombe (EDs 1-16) Counties 1297 Edgecombe (EDs 17-21), Greene, and Forsyth (EDs 66-79, 82) Counties 1298 Forsyth (EDs 80, 81, 193, 99-101, 87-90, 102-107, 83-86, 91-98) County 1299 Franklin and Gaston (EDs 72-79, 95-99) Counties 1300 Gaston (EDs 80-91, 201, 93, 94, 92), Graham, and Moore Counties 1301 Granville and Guilford (EDs 126-132, 37, 133-136, 151, 170-173) Counties 1302 Guilford (EDs 152-157, 161, 162, 158-160, 165-169, 142, 143, 137-140, 144-146, 163, 147, 141, 148-150) County 1303 Halifax and Hoke Counties 1304 Harnett and Haywood Counties 1305 Henderson, Hyde, Hertford, and Iredell (EDs 78-84, 165, 85, 166) Counties 1306 Iredell (EDs 86-101, 124, 103, 102, 104-107), Jackson, and Lee Counties 1307 Johnston County 1308 Jones, Lincoln, and Lenoir Counties 1309 McDowell, Macon, and Mecklenburg (EDs 129-136, 141-146, 149, 150) Counties 1310 Mecklenburg (EDs 137-140, 147, 148, 151-180) County 1311 Mitchell, Onslow, Montgomery, and Nash (EDs 69-76) Counties 1312 Nash (EDs 77-88) and New Hanover (EDs 89-107) Counties 1313 New Hanover (EDs 108-115), Pender, and Northampton Counties 1314 Orange, Person, and Swain Counties 1315 Pamlico and Pitt Counties 1316 Pasquotank and Surry Counties 1317 Perquimans and Rockingham Counties 1318 Polk, Stokes, and Randolph Counties 1319 Richmond and Robeson (EDs 116-128, 130, 131) Counties 1320 Robeson (EDs 129, 132-148) and Rowan (EDs 108-115, 118, 120, 121, 116, 117, 119, 122, 123, 131-133) Counties 1321 Rowan (EDs 125-130), Transylvania, and Rutherford Counties 1322 Sampson and Scotland Counties 1323 Stanly, Tyrell, and Vance Counties 1324 Union and Yadkin Counties 1325 Wake (EDs 104-126, 141-151) County 1326 Wake (EDs 127-140), Warren, and Wilson (EDs 100-102) Counties 1327 Wilson (EDs 103-115), Washington, and Yancey Counties 1328 Watauga and Wayne Counties 1329 Wilkes County ===================================================================
