=================================================================== 1920 Federal Population Census Schedules - Series T625 Introduction The 1920 census schedules are arranged by state or territory, and thereunder by county. In some instances the names of large cities also appear. The entries are not always in strict alphabetical order. It is a good idea to review all listings for the area you are interested prior to placing an order; since an entire county or enumeration district often spans more than one roll. Entries also include enumeration district numbers. If you wish to order the census schedules for a minor civil division or geographic area within a particular county or a certain ward within a given city, it is necessary for you to know that the enumeration district number is needed in order to select the correct roll. Descriptions of census enumeration districts for the 1920 census are reproduced on microfilm series T1224, rolls 41-60. =================================================================== 1920 South Carolina SERIES ROLL (INCLUDES) T625 1682 Abbeville and Aiken (EDs 1-4, 131, 5-15) Counties 1683 Aiken (EDs 16-30), Allendale, and Bamberg Counties 1684 Anderson (EDs 21-33, 38-39, 34-37, 40-52) County 1685 Anderson (EDs 53-65) and Barnwell Counties 1686 Beaufort, Berkeley, and Charleston (EDs 72-74) Counties 1687 Charleston (EDs 19-56) County 1688 Charleston (EDs 57-71, 76-78, 75, 80-100) County 1689 Calhoun and Chester Counties 1690 Cherokee and Chesterfield Counties 1691 Clarendon and Darlington (EDs 1-3, 6-9, 157) Counties 1692 Darlington (EDs 54, 26, 5, 10-19) and Colleton (EDs 124-143) Counties 1693 Dillon (EDs 20-34), Dorchester (EDs 144-155), and Greenwood (EDs 66-71, 82) Counties 1694 Greenwood (EDs 72-81, 83-91) and Edgefield (EDs 81-99) Counties 1695 Fairfield (EDs 50-70) and Florence (EDs 35-48) Counties 1696 Florence (EDs 49-65), Georgetown (EDs 66-77), and Hampton (EDs 100-101) Counties 1697 Hampton (EDs 102-108), Jasper (EDs 109-116), and Greenville (EDs 1-18) Counties 1698 Greenville (EDs 19-23, 40-47, 24-39) County 1699 Horry (EDs 78-98, 155) and Laurens (EDs 48-57) Counties 1700 Laurens (EDs 58-73) and Kershaw (EDs 71-81) Counties 1701 Lancaster (EDs 82-95) and Lee (EDs 12-25) Counties 1702 Lexington (EDs 26-42) and McCormick (EDs 92-103) Counties 1703 Marion (EDs 99-114) and Marlboro (EDs 115-125, 127, 156, 128-132) Counties 1704 Newberry (EDs 104-129) and Orangeburg (EDs 43-51) Counties 1705 Orangeburg (EDs 67-69, 153, 70-74, 154, 75-78) County 1706 Oconee (EDs 130-150) and Pickens (EDs 151-169) Counties 1707 Richland (EDs 79-99) County 1708 Richland (EDs 100-107, 127, 108-126), Saluda (EDs 117-130), and York (EDs 96-97) Counties 1709 York (EDs 98-104, 114-120, 105-113) County 1710 Spartanburg (EDs 74-78, 122, 79-83, 87-88, 84-86, 89-93, 100-108) County 1711 Spartanburg (EDs 109-121, 123, 94-99, 124-127) and Williamsburg (EDs 133-139) Counties 1712 Williamsburg (EDs 140-154) and Sumter (EDs 128-143) Counties 1713 Sumter (EDs 144-152) and Union (EDs 128-147) Counties ===================================================================
