U.S. Federal Census Microfilm Catalog
=================================================================== 1920 Federal Population Census Schedules - Series T625 Introduction The 1920 census schedules are arranged by state or territory, and thereunder by county. In some instances the names of large cities also appear. The entries are not always in strict alphabetical order. It is a good idea to review all listings for the area you are interested prior to placing an order; since an entire county or enumeration district often spans more than one roll. Entries also include enumeration district numbers. If you wish to order the census schedules for a minor civil division or geographic area within a particular county or a certain ward within a given city, it is necessary for you to know that the enumeration district number is needed in order to select the correct roll. Descriptions of census enumeration districts for the 1920 census are reproduced on microfilm series T1224, rolls 41-60. =================================================================== 1920 South Dakota SERIES ROLL (INCLUDES) T625 1714 Armstrong (EDs 1-2), Aurora (EDs 1, 276, 2-8), Bennett (EDs 3-8), Bon Homme (EDs 9-21), Beadle (EDs 1-15, 296, 16-19, 294), and Custer (EDs 25-41) Counties 1715 Brookings (EDs 20-37), Brown (EDs 55-57, 59-66, 38-46, 295, 47-54, 58), and Harding (EDs 85-94) Counties 1716 Brule (EDs 22-31), Butte (EDs 9-19), Corson (EDs 20-34), Buffalo (EDs 32-35), Clay (EDs 54-62), and Davison (EDs 63-77) Counties 1717 Campbell (EDs 67-73), Clark (EDs 74-85), Fall River (EDs 51-61), Charles Mix (EDs 36-37, 270, 38-43, 272, 44-48, 273, 49-53), and Deuel (EDs 120-129) Counties 1718 Codington (EDs 86-102), McPherson (EDs 214-223), Day (EDs 103-119), and Hand (EDs 170-181) Counties 1719 Dewey (EDs 42-50), Gregory (EDs 62-74), Hanson (EDs 86-93), Douglas (EDs 78-85), Faulk (EDs 140-148), and Grant (EDs 149-161) Counties 1720 Edmunds, Hughes, Moody, Haakon, Hutchinson, and Hyde Counties 1721 Hamlin, Jackson, Lawrence, Jerauld, Jones, and Turner Counties 1722 Kingsbury, Lake, Lincoln, Lyman, and Todd Counties 1723 McCook, Marshall, Mellette, Meade, and Tripp Counties 1724 Miner, Stanley, Union, and Minnehaha (EDs 178-203) Counties 1725 Minnehaha (EDs 165-177, 204-206), Perkins, Pennington, Potter, Sully, and Washington Counties 1726 Roberts, Sanborn, Shannon, Washabaugh, Yankton, and Ziebach Counties 1727 Spink and Walworth Counties ===================================================================
